Last days of summer...

It seems like Labor Day brought the end of summer weather with it. Here are the girls enjoying what were probably the last few warm days of this summer.

Kylie's Halloween Costume arrived in the mail today... and she won't take it off! ;)

Allie was having a blast running and jumping onto Kylie's bean-bag. She would flop down and laugh hysterically, then stand back up and do it all over again :)

Alexandra is walking! And she's 10 months old :)

Happy 10 months to Alexandra! I can't believe my baby is already 10 months. This year sure is flying by. And the fact that she's walking already makes it seem like she's so much older!

Yes....walking! Not just steps here and there, but Allie is walking all over the place. She is walking more then she's crawling, and she's pretty good at it too :) First steps at 9.5 months, full out walking a week later...not even 10 months! I still can't believe it :) I guess there's something to be said about her wanting to keep up with her older sister ;)

Bay Harbor

We had a wonderful 3-night stay in Bay Harbor! The room(s) was amazing..you walked right off the elevator into our suite. Kylie had her own room, and Allie's room was the large walk-in closet in the master bedroom. Perfect ;)

The first night there, we enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the beach.

The weather was gorgeous for our entire stay. We spent Wednesday playing on the beach and swimming at the pool.

Thursday we went to an organic farm and got to feed calves and chickens, saw baby pigs and the huge mama pig, and even got to launch squash from the squash rocket!

After the farm, we enjoyed a yummy lunch in town. It was so quaint and pretty. Of course we ended the morning with some ice cream and fudge :)

That evening, we went to Charlevoix for dinner and then walked around the pier. How gorgeous!

Alexandra's Baptism

What a perfect day! The weather was gorgeous, family celebrated with us, and both girls were in a wonderful mood.

Alexandra looked absolutely beautiful in her baptism dress, and she was smiling through most of it! She did fuss a little during the actual baptism/water on her head, but she got over it quickly :)

Allie took her first steps!

Alexandra took her first 2 steps the other day! She's been standing independently for a while, and trying to take steps here and there...but I still didn't expect it this early! Kylie took her toy, and Allie went after her. Nothing like a little sibling rivalry for motivation ;)

Since then, Allie has taken up to 5 steps at a time. Usually it's just 1 or 2, but she's getting there!

I'm so happy!

Kylie keeps giving Allie tons of hugs and kisses. Earlier this week, while giving Allie a super big hug, she giggled and said "I'm so happy!". Awwww sister love :)

 I decided to rearrange the playroom a bit and put the couches in this area..mainly so I can sit somewhere other then the floor while they're playing (and for playgroups!), but it's also nice that Ryan can now keep his ping pong table set up in the other section!

Kylie's big girl room is almost complete! I'm still in the process of putting up her new drapes/valances, but her crib has been completely converted to a full sized bed...and she loves it!
